A Very Merry Christmas Post

Ahhh Christmas... what can I say. Family and fun, laughter and happiness, smiles and children, food and merriment. In all honesty, I really LOVE Christmas. It's just that time of the year where everyone gets together, surrounded by familial love and encompassed by the true meaning of Christmas: Jesus.

And with every celebration comes the partyin' in the tummy. Food mosh time!

So while the adulties prepared the main food, the young ones, namely moi and my cousin, prepared the sweet little treats.

Christmas din din:
  • Garlic Prawns
  • Traditional Ham with sweet pineapple sauce
  • Seafood, Chicken Paella
  • Garden Salad
  • Pork Crackling with roasted potatoes and carrots
Ma cousine and I baked Red Velvet Cupcakes with my own recipe, check it out here: Double M: Red Velvet Cupcake Recipe and some Choc-Coconut Christmas Balls, courtesy of Taste.

Decorated Red Velvet Cupcakes:
We used the Cream Cheese frosting and without the help of my newly acquired piping gun (which I got for Chrissy), I was able to make reindeers, Christmas trees, stars, lovehearts and spell out 'Merry Christmas.'
